Sunday evening after rental car return we took the streetcar (very convenient, as well as the newly renovated airport!) to downtown's Delta Center, home of the Utah Jazz basketball team (with former legends Karl Malone, right, and John Stockton, left).
Recently, they were joined by the Utah Hockey Club, an NHL hockey team, which was acquired from Arizona. They are currently in the process to remodel and adjust the arena for hockey games. We had media credentials for the game against St. Louis Blues, and, though the game was not too exciting, we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Had a pizza and a beer at
Redrock Brewery after the game and walked back to our "garden suite" at the luxurious Little America
Hotel afterwards.We got to know that draft beer in UT can
only have a max. of 5 % alcohol, whereas there are no restrictions for
bottled or canned beer. Considering that a couple of years ago you had to become
member of a club to get a drink in a restaurant at all, situation has
improved a lot.
