Up early, all packed, and, out we were again for some more photo taking. We walked along Wacker Drive, in the Loop, where fantastic new architecture has come up. The promenade (Riverwalk) along the Chicago River is very attractive as well - hasn't always looked like that!
On to Daley Plaza with some famous artwork and almost "creepy" window cleaners,,,
,,, and to Millenium Park, our favorite part of downtown! The Bean - an openair sculpture - is under renovation and not accessible, the Crown Fountain didn't carry and spit water anymore, but Lurie Gardens - closeby the Art Institute (photo) - still have their own "fall charm".
Had a quick breakfast at Stan's Donuts before heading back to the hotel, getting ready for pick-up to the airport.
