Light at the end of the tunnel - U.S. borders going to open!

Monday - Media Market Place - "Speed-dating" - 10-min appointments with supplier in two big halls of the ResortsWorld, at different tables with reps of destinations/cities/attractions, sorted from A-Z. Meaning: a lot of steps. And, taking notes in the breaks inbetween:

Well, as always, part of appointments was interesting and helpful, others not so much. We were so fortunate to get invited to lunch by our long-time friend from Houston and we didn't have to walk over to the CC and skipped packaged (modest) lunch for delicious BBQ in a hotel restaurant instead. Photo below shows Resorts World's central area.

In the evening we had a great dinner with the Oklahoma team in downtown and walked over to Fremont Street (pic below) at the end for some "entertainment" - and a spectaculra light show. Took Monorail to get back to the hotel, and, it took forever.

Tuesday: press conferences, 7 in a row, then lunch (packaged, to take away) and in the afternoon a couple of appointments in the main Exhibition Hall, but mainly "walking the hall", meeting old friends and colleagues and having a drink with them at the end at the "California Block Party". At least, we were able to call it a day at 7 pm already (only 24 hours, since we left our roomat 7:15 am already!).

Already yesterday, the atmosphere-changing news was, that US borders will open up beginning of November. Today, in the U.S. Travel Association press conference (pic) it was confirmed and discussed and everybody was relieved!!! Eventually, light at the end of the tunnel!
