,,,through the snow – not as easy as planned,,,
After a 3-hour delay in SLC (because of a snowstorm in Chicago) we, of course, missed our connecting UA flight to MUC. Fortunately, there was another Lufthansa flight on the same evening, about 4 hours later, and we were re-booked. Though, this plane was also departing 1,5 hours late because of the de-icing procedure and constant snow-plowing of the runways, it arrived only about 15 min. delayed in Munich. And, it was very comfy, with only about 80 passengers (half of them in Business and First Class) in a large, new Airbus A340-600. So, we arrived at home about four hours later than expected. Could have been worse.
